- March 2009: TMT Handbook completed.
- February 2009: TMT Training Course in Mol, Belgium, 16-20 February 2009.
A total of 43 people from 14 European countries participated in the TMT training course hosted by and held at the Belgian Nuclear Research Center (SCK•CEN). The course covered topics such as: emergency response arrangements, radiation detection and monitoring, medical treatment of casualties, public communication, and an exercise during which the participants had an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the contents of the Handbook. A word of appreciation to all lecturers and staff that contributed to a very successful meeting.


- December 2008:
TMT Feedback Workshop at Lillehammer, Norway, 1-3 December.
The aim of the Workshop was to gather end-user's experience from evaluating the Draft TMT Handbook and/or from exercises in order to make the final TMT Handbook as relevant and user friendly as possible. 28 participants from 16 countries participated at the Workshop in addition to the TMT Consortium members. The participants gave their inputs through presentations and discussions both in plenum and in break-out sessions.
The Workshop was held at Radisson SAS Lillehammer hotel at Lillehammer, 180 km north of Oslo.

TMT Technical Meeting 4-9 December
The TMT Consortium continued to work together at Lillehammer the days following the Workshop. The feedback received from the end-users at the Workshop and through the submitted evaluation forms were considered and discussed, and changes to improve the Handbook were implemented.

The TMT Consortium would like to thank all the participants at the Workshop and everybody who sent their input through the evalution form for their contribution.
- March-October 2008: Testing/evaluation period of the Draft TMT Handbook
- September 2008: Consortium meeting in Brussels, Belgium.
Consortium members were gathered in Brussels from 30th September to 2nd October. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the finalisation of the TMT Handbook, the TMT Feedback Workshop to be held in Lillehammer, Norway, in December 2008 and the TMT Training Course to be held in Mol, Belgium, in February 2009.
- July 2008: Working Group Meeting WP3 and WP4 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Members of WP3 and WP4 of the TMT project met to discuss improvements of the two main chapters of the Draft TMT Handbook; Chapter E: "Triage and Monitoring" and Chapter F: "Medical Management at the Hospital" and related annexes.
- June 2008: Meeting to discuss TMT Training Course in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The meeting was held 23-24 June 2008 in Edinburgh to discuss requirements and arrangements for the TMT Training Course to be held in Mol, Belgium, 16-20 February 2009.
- March 2008: The Draft TMT Handbook is now available for evaluation and testing by identified end users in the European Union.
- December 2007: WP5 Technical meeting in Oslo, Norway.
WP5 deals with the dissemination and training aspects of the TMT Handbook project. 11-13 December 2007 a technical meeting for WP5 was held at the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority at Østerås, outside Oslo.

- November 2007: WP3 / WP4 joint meeting in Brussels, Belgium
A WP3/WP4 joint meeting was held in Brussels, Belgium, 8-9 November 2007. The objective of the meeting was to ensure consistent approach between WP3 (guidelines for triage and monitoring) and WP4 (guidelines for treatment, management and long-term follow-up.

- August 2007: WP4 Consultancy Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
Under the TMT Handbook project several tasks are being undertaken through six different work packages. The objective of work package N°4 (WP4), leaded by WHO, is to develop evidence-based practical guidelines on treatment and follow-up of victims. To achieve this goal, a WP4 Consultancy Meeting was held in WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, between 7 and 9 August 2007. The meeting brought together experts from WHO member states and participants of the TMT Consortium to get consensus on best practice concerning medical and public health response to radiation emergencies resulting from malevolent acts.

- July 2007: The invitation to test and/or comment on the Handbook was sent to the EU-countries. A leaflet giving a short presentation of the project was made and distributed. (WP5)
- June 2007: A questionnaire was sent to members of EUREMON (EURopean Emergency MONitoring) network to collect information on the monitoring, management and treatment of people in an emergency after accidental or deliberate releases of radionuclides or exposure to radiation. (WP2)
- March 2007: Consortium meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
